The Harmony Club : The Harmony Club is a group of local singer-songwriter educators that came together this spring to create a musical tool kit for kids on how to be the most awesome version of themselves.
John, in his own words: I am a mixture of country and the blues, and a little punk rock might even slip through the seams. Someone once described my music as “quirky.” Did they mean peculiar, or unique? I’ll never know, but I probably sound like I’m imitating Lyle Lovett imitating Tori Amos. I’m sure, in some way, it all falls under the welcoming umbrella of folk.
My EP, entitled “Beside Myself,” is an exploration of how people keep on keepin-on when faced with the worst.
